Summer Music Camp: Explore, Learn, and Have Fun!

Join us for an exciting week of music, creativity, and fun at our Sounds of Carolina Summer Music Camp! Whether you're a beginner or already have some musical experience, this camp is designed for kids ages 7-13 to discover new instruments, explore different musical styles, and have a blast with fellow students. We have room for 20 students so sign up before spaces fill up! 

Camp Details:

• Dates: June 23 - 27

• Drop-Off: 8:45 AM - 9:00 AM

• Camp Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Pick-Up: 3:00 PM - 3:15 PM

• Location: 711 South McDuffie St, Anderson, SC

• Pricing: $199 

Daily Schedule Highlights:

• Interactive Music Classes:

  • Strings/Violin - Learn finger placement, bowing, and play simple songs.

  • Percussion - Explore rhythm with drums, tambourines, and other percussion instruments in a high-energy class learning tempo and musicianship. 

  • Piano/Keyboard - Discover the basics of piano and keyboard playing while learning to play simple melodies and chords.

  • Singing/Voice - Develop vocal skills through fun warm-ups and singing exercises.  

• Recess & Games: Get outdoors with musical games, relay races, and free play to recharge.

• Daily Reflections & Mini Performances: At the end of each day, kids will share what they've learned and celebrate their musical progress.

Friday Reception & Performance:

• On Friday afternoon, join us for a special Reception & Performance from 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM where students will perform what they’ve worked on throughout the week. It’s a wonderful opportunity for campers to showcase their progress and for parents to see all the hard work and fun!

• Water Bottle (to stay hydrated throughout the day)

• Lunch (please bring a lunch each day)

• Binder (to keep music sheets and notes organized)

• Paper & Writing Utensils (for notes and activities)
