Meet your instructor
Jared Miller
Jared Miller teaches violin lessons at the Sounds of Carolina Greenville location. Jared Miller, born and raised in Upstate South Carolina, began violin lessons in 2006, played through school orchestras, earned a bachelor's degree in music with a voice emphasis in 2021 while also studying violin and piano, and is now pursuing an M.A. in Music, striving to develop his artistry and inspire others through music.

Maren Reaves
Maren Reaves teaches violin lessons at the Sounds of Carolina Anderson location. Maren Dameron Reaves studied violin with R. Alexander Spainhour and at Wake Forest University, completed Suzuki training for books 1-3, has over a decade of teaching experience—including five years at the Montessori School of Anderson—and has performed with the Anderson Symphony, GAMAC Chamber Orchestra, Spartanburg Philharmonic, and various bluegrass groups, teaching both Suzuki method and bluegrass fiddle to students of all ages.
